Boxers ready and on weight for the first date in Argentina  – World Boxing Association

In an expectant and brotherhood atmosphere took place the official weigh-in for the first day of fights in the framework of KO DRUGS Festival this Thursday, June 23, at the Casino of Buenos Aires, Argentina, broadcast by TyC Sports . 

For the first four fights to be held at the luxurious casino in Buenos Aires, the main attraction will be the local Mirco Cuello, who weighed 125.44 pounds without any problems. 

After the ceremony, Cuello, undefeated in 7 appearances, said he feels really happy and grateful for the opportunity to fight for the vacant World Boxing Association international featherweight title against the experienced Venezuelan Leonardo Padilla, who weighed 125.99 pounds in the first attempt. The Caracas-born fighter, with a record of 21 wins with 15 knockouts and only 4 losses, had two hours to fulfill what was agreed upon.  

In the co-main event, with a local belt at stake along with the WBA international super flyweight belt, Argentinians Tobias Reyes (7-0/114.42 lbs.) and Sebastian Castillo (7-0/114.99 lbs.) will face each other. In this case, Castillo also had to return to the scale because he was over the limit.

In the complementary bouts, Kevin Espindola (7-3,2kos/255,51lbs) from Argentina, who will have a great challenge against Ivan Dynchko (11-0,11kos/238,98lbs), Olympic medalist in Rio 2016, won the first battle with the scales.

Jarrelll Miller (23-0-1,20kos/341,71lbs) will clash fists in the ring with the local Ariel Bracamonte (11-7,6kos/305,56lbs). 

Promising fights will inaugurate the traditional social event of the pioneer entity this Thursday.
