Kiram-Zekria Zamani for WBA Asian title in Thailand  – World Boxing Association

Thai veteran Tewa Kiram will face young Afghan Mohammed Zekria Zamani this Saturday in Bangkok, Thailand, for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Asian super welterweight title.

This will be a great clash of experience over youth in which the home fighter will have the responsibility to perform in front of his people against a challenger who is eager to surprise.

Kiram is one of the figures of boxing in his country and has beaten good fighters in his career that began in 2008. He had the opportunity to come to the United States in 2018 to fight Argentina’s Lucas Matthysse, who handed him the only loss of his career.

Zekria Zamani has made his short career between India and Thailand and is eager to impose his aggressive style. The 23-year-old fighter has power. The toughest test of his career in which he must show what he is made of.

The winner will win the Asian title and the opportunity to continue to make a name for himself in world boxing.
