Graeff and Sanchez ready and on weight in Germany – World Boxing Association

Prospect Ramona Graeff and veteran Alys Sanchez made weight for their World Boxing Association (WBA) Gold super featherweight title fight, which will take place at the Historische Stadthalle, Wuppertal, in Germany.

The home fighter weighed in at 128.9 lbs., while the Venezuelan made 129.6, both below the 130 lbs. limit established by the division and are ready to fight for the belt in a bout that will also be an eliminator.

Graeff will have a real test this time around. The 24-year-old German has shown good things in her previous fights and has easily dominated the opponents she has faced.

Sanchez is a former world champion who has fought in different countries and is looking for one more shot at the world title. The 35-year-old veteran wants to impose her experience and damage the night of the local but she will have to work hard to do it.

Graeff has 3 wins without defeat and Sanchez has 17 wins, 7 losses and 1 draw.
