Bivol and Ramirez reached an agreement to fight on Nov. 5 – World Boxing Association

The Purse bid for the World Boxing Association (WBA) light heavyweight world championship bout between Dmitry Bivol and Gilberto Ramirez, which was scheduled to take place last Sunday, was cancelled as both parties reached an agreement.

Both fighters’ teams informed the Championships Committee of the pioneer body that the fight will take place on November 5 in the United Arab Emirates and that full details will be provided in the coming days.

The fight between Bivol and Ramirez is mandatory for the 175 lbs. belt and puts two undefeated and talented fighters face to face in a contest that raises a lot of expectations for the public. 

The signed contracts will be sent soon within the deadlines established by the WBA for this type of cases.
