Katie Taylor will defend again before the end of the year  – World Boxing Association

After starring the most important fight of the golden girls of women’s boxing, the undisputed 135 lbs. champion, owner of the World Boxing Association belt, Katie Taylor, returns to the ring. On this occasion, she will seek to reaffirm her title against Argentina’s undefeated Karen Carabajal on October 29th under the lights of the OVO Arena Wembley in London, England. 

Carabajal, nicknamed “La Burbuja”, will be facing the most important opportunity of her career. Since she made her debut in August 2013, she has racked up 19 wins with 2 knockouts. In addition, Carabajal is South American and Argentine super featherweight champion. 

For her part, Taylor was waiting for an opportunity to return to the ring before the end of the year and be able to close a year that has been spectacular for her. With her 21 undefeated fights and 6 quick definitions, Taylor is going through a great sporting present after having defeated the Puerto Rican Amanda Serrano last April.
