Vadim Kornilov is WBA Manager of the Year – World Boxing Association

The World Boxing Association (WBA) awarded Vadim Kornilov as Manager of the Year thanks to his growth in his role and the performance of those he represented during 2022. 

Kornilov was born in Russia but is a U.S. citizen. He manages outstanding careers of boxers such as Dmitry Bivol, the Boxer of the Year, and Murodjon Akhmadaliev, unified 122-pound champion. 

Kornilov’s main merit has been to identify talent from various countries around the world and make them stand out in the major markets. Bivol has been a clear example of that, as he has become one of the great figures of the sport thanks to his work in the ring and his appearance in big fights as WBA world champion.

In addition to Bivol and Akhmadaliev, fighters such as Shakhram Giyasov, Botirzhon Akhmedov, Hasanboy Dusmatov, Radzhab Butaev, Aleksei Egorov, Bektemir Melikuziev and Israil Madrimov also work alongside Kornilov.

The WBA congratulates Kornilov and his fighters for all the successes of 2022 and wishes them a great growth in this 2023.
