Price and Masson both made weight for their Continental WBA belt fight  – World Boxing Association

The World Boxing Association (WBA) Continental super bantamweight title bout between Hopey Price and Thomas Masson is ready and in order after both fighters completed the weigh-in this Friday, in Newcastle.

After stepping on the scales, both were cleared for their bout this Saturday. Price clocked in at 121.4 lbs, while Masson made 120.8 lbs, both below the division’s regulation 122. 

Price comes into one of the most important fights of his career. A chance to test himself against a veteran and earn a regional belt that is important to his career.

Masson gives the impression of having nothing to lose and intends to make a surprise by appealing to his experience and the record he has in so many years as a professional fighter. 

Price has 9 wins and 3 knockouts. Masson has 20 wins, 5 setbacks, 1 draw and 7 knockouts.
