Niyomtrong-Rosa purse bid cancelled by verbal agreement of the parties  – World Boxing Association

The bidding for the fight between the World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Minimum Champion, Thammanoon Niyomtrong, and the champion of the category, Erick Rosa, scheduled to be held on Tuesday, March 28 in Panama City, was cancelled  after both teams announced to the Championships Committee that they reached an agreement.

The pioneer organization received the communication from Alex Bravo, from Shuan Boxing and Panya Prachakorn, from Niyomtrong’s team, in which they requested the cancellation and stated that they had everything agreed for the fight.

The committee studied the request and granted them a deadline until next Monday, April 3, to send the signed contracts with the details of the date and venue of the 105-pound fight.

In the event that any of the parties refuses to comply with the contract to which both teams committed, he will lose his recognition as champion of the organization.
