Liborio Solis appeared before the press in Japan  – World Boxing Association

Venezuelan Liborio Solis, contender for the vacant World Boxing Association (WBA) bantamweight title, arrived in Japan and this Thursday held a public training session as part of the promotion for his April 8 bout against Takuma Inoue at the Ariake Arena in Koto Ku.

Solis is a 41-year-old veteran who was active and waiting for this opportunity. He is a former world champion at super flyweight and has always put up great fights in the ring.

It is not new for him to fight in Japan as he has had great victories there against important opponents such as Kohei Komo or Daiki Kameda.

The fighter did a soft training session in front of the journalists and photographers who attended and was able to express his desire to become world champion again, a challenge that will not be easy but for which he feels ready and with a lot of motivation.

Liborio arrived in time to Japan and now he has to adapt to the schedule and the weather, in addition to finalize details of weight and physical condition for his fight. The South American has 35 wins, 6 losses, 1 draw and 16 knockouts.
