Ohara Davies won the WBA Honorable Mention for March ratings – World Boxing Association

British Ohara Davies won the Honorable Mention awarded by the World Boxing Association (WBA) every month with the publication of the official rankings.

Davies was recognized for his good performance in March, a period in which Otabek Kholmatov won the award as the boxer of the month for the pioneering organization.

Davies had a super lightweight eliminator on March 4 against Lewis Ritson and scored a good eighth round knockout to win the bout. A punch to the body was the architect of the end of the fight and the resounding victory for him.

The 31-year-old fighter continues his hot streak and is closing in on a world title shot. On the other hand, the WBA March rankings are posted on the website in the corresponding section.
