Gervonta Davis knows how to move the masses and knows very well what it takes to get noticed in the world arena. His fight this Saturday against Ryan Garcia at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is one of the most anticipated of the year where both Americans want to shine in what is so far the most important fight of his career.

Davis wanted to face Garcia and the fight had been heating up for months while they were in negotiations. In fact, the champion gave up making the fight at 136 pounds and not defending his WBA lightweight crown in order to make the Garcia fight happen. 

He knows he is facing a very skilled media opponent, who is young and fast, so it is a challenge that all the public expected and that despite the difficulties to achieve the pact, it was done. 

Davis is a southpaw guard, very powerful and knows how to throw rising punches to surprise his opponents. He will have to deal with an opponent who is taller than him and a big left hook, whose effectiveness Gervonta must counter on Saturday night. 

The Baltimore fighter has made it clear that he wants the big fights and the big names. He has sacrificed things to be in the ring against Garcia and knows a win will be his reward.
