Fondjo demolished Sangmuang as a visitor  – World Boxing Association

Stephane Fondjo was crowned World Boxing Association (WBA) super middleweight South Asian champion with a five-round technical knockout victory over Thailand’s Apisit Sangmuang at the SpacePlus Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Cameroonian came in as a visitor against a younger opponent but showed his superiority in the ring with a resounding victory in the second half of the fight.

The 25-year-old fighter scored his fourth knockout in his last five fights and is now a regional champion, which helps him to move up the ladder in his career and look for bigger opportunities in the medium term.

He now has 11 wins, 1 loss and 9 knockouts, while Sangmuang left his record at 12 wins, 4 losses and 1 draw.
