Blanc won the Fedelatin belt in Buenos Aires

Leandro Jose Blanc captured the World Boxing Association (WBA) Fedelatin flyweight title with a unanimous decision win over Kervin Romero at the Club Atletico Huracan in Buenos Aires last weekend. 

The former Argentine Olympian got scorecards of 99-90, 97-92 and 97-92 in a good fight over the Venezuelan, in which he knocked him down in the ninth round and dominated him for most of the fight.

Blanc looked strong and convincing throughout the fight and took another important step in his career. He continues to move up and is looking for better and better opportunities with the intention of making it to the elite. 

Blanc remains undefeated and now has 8 wins and 3 knockouts. Romero, on the other hand, left his record at 7 wins and 3 losses.
