Jesus Ramos and Erickson Lubin will fight in the WBA eliminator – World Boxing Association

Jesus Alejandro Ramos and Erickson Lubin will clash for the World Boxing Association (WBA) super welterweight eliminator in the co-main event this Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Two of the strongest fighters in the division will fight prior to the main event where Saul Alvarez will defend his undisputed super welterweight championship against Jermell Charlo.

“Mono” Ramos and Lubin know the responsibility of being in one of the most important fights of the weekend and also know the need for victory in a fight that would put them close to a world title shot.

Ramos is an undefeated 22 year old who has easily handled several fights that were tough on paper. The Arizona native has a great record despite his young age and has defeated quality opponents such as Luke Santamaria and Joseph Spencer.

Lubin is 27 years old from Orlando, Florida. He has only lost to Jermell Charlo and Sebastian Fundora in his career and this opportunity comes at a great time as it could add another dimension to his career.

Ramos is undefeated in 20 fights and has knocked out 16 opponents. Lubin has 25 wins, 2 setbacks and 18 knockouts.
