AJ Paciones defended his WBA Asia belt with knockout  – World Boxing Association

Arvin Jhon Paciones made the second defense of his WBA Asia light flyweight title with a first round knockout win over Wanchai Nianghansa on Friday.

The Filipino was the star of the event held at the SpacePlus Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, as he put on a devastating performance against the home fighter and remained the regional champion of the pioneer organization.

Paciones is only 19 years old and has been a professional since 2022. In two years of career he has been growing gradually and has already fought in Vietnam and Thailand with great victories.

It was his second defense against a more experienced opponent and extended his undefeated record to 8 wins, 5 of them by knockout.

I’m in the best shape of my life, I’m here, I’m strong and I’m happy to fight this Saturday.
