Lapin demolished Pudivitr in Riyadh  – World Boxing Association

Ukrainian Daniel Lapin retained the World Boxing Association (WBA) Continental light heavyweight belt by defeating Octavio Pudivitr during the Ring Of Fire prelims in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

It was a resounding victory in the very first round. A combination of punches hurt Pudivitr and knocked him to the ground with no chance of recovery.

Lapin, a lanky boxer with a rather showy style, performed perfectly in this great event and was far superior to his opponent to win the regional belt of the pioneer organization and take a big step in his professional career.

His record now stands at 10 wins and undefeated and has knocked out 4 opponents. For his part, Pudivitr left his record at 9 wins and 2 losses, with 4 knockouts.
