Gonzalez wins NABA belt with knockout over Micah  – World Boxing Association

American Carlos Gonzalez defeated Duke Micah by eighth round technical knockout to win the North America Boxing Association (NABA) belt last weekend at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield. 

Gonzalez had a good performance and by the time the fight was over he was up on the scorecards with scores of 70-62, 79-73 and 78-74, evidence of his dominance and his great performance last Saturday to win the World Boxing Association (WBA) crown. 

Gonzalez scored an important win for his career as he becomes regional champion and also continues his undefeated record. He showed his power again by stopping his opponent and is starting to make a name for himself at 126 pounds. 

The 27-year-old has won all 13 of his professional fights, 12 of them by knockout. For his part, Micah has a record of 24 wins, 2 losses and 19 knockouts.
