De La Hoya to 154?

Ahead of his assignment as the featured promoter on Saturday night’s huge Hopkins-Eastman card is Los Angeles, Oscar de la Hoya stole himself a little of the limelight surrounding the fight with a statement indicating something of his future. De La Hoya mentioned the possibility of fighting Felix Trinidad in what would be a revenge mission of sorts for him as Trinidad was the

first to defeat De La Hoya back in the late nineties. De La Hoya, unsuccessful by his standards as a middleweight, even went as far as to say that he would fight Trinidad at the 154-pound light middleweight limit. The nature of making this huge fight is a complex one, not the least of which is the fact that Trinidad must first find a way past southpaw stylist Ronald Wright later this year. As always, SaddoBoxing.com will keep you updated with the latest news free.
