32 year old southpaw Ugandan Saku won the title last December with a thrilling third round KO over Bagaza Mwambene in Kampala, Uganda.
The vacant ABU Super Feather crown will be decided between two time South African title challenger Gabriel Phakula, 21-6 (8), and Jasper Seroka, 15-1 (7), in a rematch. The pair originally met in February, 2006 with Seroka winning a six rounder on points.
Two of Phakula’s losses were close bouts to Ali Funeka, 20who knocked out top American Zahir Raheem to win an IBF lightweight eliminator last weekend while Seroka has only come up short against future world champion Malcolm Klassen in 2003.
The third ABU title clash sees Lesley Sekotswe, 7-0 (5), face off for the vacant super flyweight trophy against Simon Ramoni, 27-11-1 (17), an ex- IBO Super Bantam and South African Super Flyweight titlist.
