WBC light heavy champ Adrian Diaconu is sidelined with an injury and his defence against Italian veteran Silvio Branco that was scheduled for November 15 in Bucharest is cancelled. No word on a new date.

Venezuelan super middle Gusmyl “Pantera” Perdomo is very much likely to be next mandatory challenger for WBA champ Mikkel Kessler and will be featured on the undercard to Dimitrenko vs Krasniqi in Duesseldorf November 15, writes notifight.com.

Former WBC super middle champ Markus Beyer´s back injury is so bad that Beyer may face retirement, writes Bild Zeitung. Surgery is a possibility but not even then is it certain that the Markus can come back.

Stockholm, Sweden, based Pro Box Scandinavia will promote two shows Kampala, Uganda. The first, a smaller event, goes ahead November 23 at Sabrina´s Pub. Then on December 19, PBS stages a bigger event with lightweight Peter Semo, welter Hassan Saku and feather Abdu Tebazalwa topping the bill.
