CatBox Boxing: Fields vs. Jolly In OKC Main Event This Friday

It’s a rugged and exciting fight card this Friday night, August 13, 2010 at the Cox Center, 2nd Floor, in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.

Eric Fields v. Harvey Jolly. Fields (15-1, 12 KOs) is fighting one of the toughest boxers in the 200 pound divison. Jolly, from Adrian, Michigan, recently handed previously undefeated Nicholas Iannuzzi his only loss in 16 fights, knocking Iannuzzi out in the 1st round.

Fields, the former two time Heavyweight Golden Gloves Champion, as a pro has been very impressive as he moves up the rankings for an expected world title shot.

Noah Zuhdi (10-1, 10 KOs) v. Martin Armenta, Los Mochis, Mexico. Zuhdi is the Oklahoma Lightweight Champion. Armenta is the former NABA Champ. In Zuhdi’s last fight May 21, 2010 he knocked out highly regarded John Temple of Monroe, Louisiana, in a crowd pleasing fight.

Zuhdi showed boxing skills which complimented his hard punching power. Armenta is a veteran of 39 fights, including several title fights. The veteran champ versus the new star in the division.

Ron “The Iceman” Aubrey (9-2, 9KOs) v. Denshio Cook, Stillwater, Oklahoma. Cook, at 350 pounds, is a former Atlanta Falcon pro football player and played his college football at O.S.U. Aubrey is a former Blazer Hockey player.

Zackary McMillen (2-3, 2 KOs) v. Blake Warner (1-1, 1 KO), 200 pound cruiserweights. Zack McMillen, Tishomingo, always brings nonstop action. Warner, OKC, will be very tough and it promises to be a good fight.
