WBO Oriental King Piriyapino KO’s Miyagi In Thailand

OneSongchai M150 Promotion celebrated the Lotus Bloom Festival on Tuesday at Old Airport Stadium in Kunyuam District, Maehongsorn Province, Thailand by producing a boxing card presented by Maehongsorn Governor, Kamtorn Tavornsatit, Kunyuam District Mayor Sakchai Supasa and female promoter Pariyakorn Ratanasuban.

Live television was provided by Channel 7 from 15.00-17.00 while over 6,000 audience members watched the card for free at Old Airport Stadium.

The main event was a WBO Oriental Featherweight title clash between reigning champ Chonlatarn Or Piriyapinyo and Japanese challenger Ryuta Miyagi.

The opening three rounds were competitive and exciting until Piriyapino twice dropped Miyagi for the count in the third. When Miyagi was downed a third time in the same frame, the referee stopped the fight and Piriyapino declared the winner.

Other fights included Tangtong Muangsima winning in the sixth over Kengsaklek Sakchaichote, Female WBA Asia Featherweight Champ Sainamdoi Sitjadang also won in six against Kanpet Sitpupetch and Susu Sitjedang won in six against Treepet Sor Punsawat.
