Dale Miles defeated Curtis Woodhouse to win the British Light-Welterweight Title Eliminator contest at The Magna Centre, Rotherham, last night.
The thrilling contest saw crowds standing to watch as the action yo-yo’d between local boxer Woodhouse and Alfreton Man – Miles, but Woodhouse was dropped heavily in the fifth and it was clear he wasn’t able to continue.
The Dave Coldwell promoted fight-night also featured five contests on the undercard.
