More Bouts Added To 2013 Rural Rumble

The City of Fallon, NV and Let’s Get It On Promotions have added more exciting bouts, and NVBHOF honor presentation to the sixth-installment of “Fallon Fights – Rural Rumble” Saturday August 24th at the Churchill County Fairgrounds.

Rural Rumble 2013 will feature world class professional boxing, and special presentations by the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame.

Reno light-heavyweight Carlos Gaytan (3-1-1, 3 KOs) has been added to the Rural Rumble this year. Gaytan will be fighting Mexico’s Hector Hernandez (10-6-2, 4 KOs) in a six-round bout.

The boxing portion of the show includes undefeated heavyweight prospect Ytalo Perea (4-0, 3 KOs) vs. Avery Gibson (2-2-2. 1 KO) ; rising flyweight star and Reno native Oscar Vasquez (4-1) vs. Alejandro Solorio (4-7, 3 KOs Los Angeles); and the pro debutof Carson City welterweight Justin Benitez vs. Jimmy Jones (0-1, Las Vegas).

After a very successful induction ceremony on August 10 in Las Vegas for the inaugural class of the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame, there will now be a Northern Nevada presence for the State’s HOF. At the this year’s Rural Rumble, NVBOF President Rich Marotta will be providing awards to the victorious boxers, and will also select a “Boxer of the Night” for the pug who displays and excellent showing.

Fallon Fights 2013 will once again be held outdoors at the Churchill County Fairgrounds – 325 Sheckler Rd. Gate opens at 6pm, first bell at 7.
