Maloney Promotions and Fight Academy put on the official British Super Feather Championship weigh-in yesterday at Elland Road Stadium in Leeds, England with beltholder Carl Johanneson and challenger Femi Fehintola looking fit and ready to go tonight for their scheduled clash at the Barnsley Metrodome.
British Champion Carl Johanneson tipped the scales at 9 stone 3 lb, 2oz (129 lb) Undefeated Challenger Femi Fehintola weighed in at 9 stone 4 (130 lb)
Both fighters spoke at the event and had a brief exchange of words;
Fehintola: “I’m really looking forward to this fight.”
Johanneson: “Tomorrow night, I’ll do the talking and it won’t be with my mouth!”
Fehintola: “That’s great, bring your best and I’ll bring my best”.
Also making appearances on the scales were ex-IBO Super Middleweight Champion Brian Magee, former IBO Super Flyweight and British/Commonwealth Flyweight Champion Jason Booth and undefeated light middleweight prospect Gary Woolcombe.
