Irish Amateur Update: Elite Schoolboy Awards Night Announced

The 2nd Elite Schoolboy Awards Night will take place on Friday, February 14, in the Hamlet Court Hotel, Johnstownbridge, Enfield, Co. Kildare.

All 2013 Irish Champions at Boy 1, Boy 2, Boy 3, Boy 4 and Cadet Champions at these age groups will receive awards.
Boxers who partook in the Elite Schoolboy Summer Training Camp in Gormanston in 2013 will also receive an award.

The team who qualified to represent Ireland at the European Schoolboy Championships, and won ten medals, will be the main attraction.

A surprise celebratory from the world of sport will be present on the night.

Tickets are priced at €30. Boxers receiving awards gain free entry but they must be accompanied by their parents and/or coaches. Clubs can purchase their own ‘club table’ for a knockdown €250.

Everybody within the boxing family is asked to support this event.

Doors open at 7pm with dinner at 8pm followed by the awards ceremony.

Persons attending are asked to get their tickets as soon as possible as following on last year’s success, numbers may be limited.
