Serrano-Ramos on Friday at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida  – World Boxing Association

Amanda Serrano will defend her World Boxing Association (WBA) feather belt against Danila Ramos this Friday at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida.

The Puerto Rican will return to the ring for a new presentation against the Brazilian challenger, in which she will also put her IBF and WBO belts at stake.

Serrano is the 126 lbs. champion and one of the most solid champions in boxing history. She comes from defeating Heather Hardy in her last fight on August 5 in a good performance in Dallas, Texas.

The 35-year-old Puerto Rican intends to keep possession of her title and will do so in a fight that was agreed to 12 rounds of three minutes, an unprecedented situation for women’s boxing.

Ramos, on the other hand, is a highly motivated opponent who has a lot to win in this confrontation. The South American is coming from defeating Brenda Carabajal to win a WBO interim title and get this opportunity against the champion.

The weigh-in ceremony will take place this Thursday and the official bout will be on Friday. Serrano has 45 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw and 30 knockouts, while Ramos has 12 wins and 2 setbacks.
