Gilberto Jesús Mendoza to Speak at Harvard Latino Alumni Alliance Conference – World Boxing Association

WBA President Gilberto Jesús Mendoza will take the stage this Saturday, October 4, as a featured speaker at the Harvard Latino Alumni Alliance Conference, a prestigious gathering hosted this weekend at Harvard University in Massachusetts.

The HLAA, which brings together more than 16,000 Latino alumni and students of Harvard, is dedicated to strengthening the Latino community within and beyond the university, expanding representation at every academic level, and fostering programs that connect alumni, current students, and future aspirants through mentorship and opportunity.

Mendoza’s address will focus on the role of boxing as a tool for social transformation, highlighting initiatives such as WBA Future, WBA Kids, and KO Drugs, which have positively impacted young people and communities worldwide.
