    Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao faced off for only the third time Wednesday during the final press conference for their long-awaited welterweight world championship unification fight this Saturday, May 2, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, live on pay-per-view.

    The last time the boxing superstars met face-to-face was at the Los Angeles press conference to formally announce the mega-fight on March 11. The first time they were photographed up close and personal came at a Miami Heat basketball game in January.

    In the most eagerly awaited showdown in years – and the richest fight in boxing history — the undefeated and universally recognized No. 1 pound-for-pound boxer Mayweather (47-0, 26 KOs), an 11-time world champion in five weight divisions, will take on the fighting pride of the Philippines, Pacquiao (57-5-2, 38 KOs), the only boxer to capture world titles in eight weight classes.   • Box Fan Expo Returns To Las Vegas September 12

    Box Fan Expo organizers announced that the second annual Box Fan Expo will return to the Las Vegas Convention Center, Saturday, Sept. 12.

    The novel event, which allowed fans to meet and greet boxing legends, past and current champions and other celebrities of the sport, debuted last September. It will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and once again, allow fans a chance to collect autographs, take photos and purchase merchandise and memorabilia.

    Exhibitors such as boxing gear, apparel, broadcasting media and other brand companies who wish to participate will have a chance to showcase their products to fans and the whole boxing industry. (more…)

    After four rounds of sparring, working the mitts and a light workout, eight-division world champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao (57-5-2, 38 KOs) completed his final day of training camp at Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, Calif. today.

    From there the Pacquiao caravan, including a luxury bus festooned from stem to stern with Manny’s image, began its trek to Las Vegas for Fight Week, celebrating his May 2 welterweight world championship unification battle against undefeated Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26 KOs), at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.     Hennessy Sports in association with Sanigar Events are delighted to announce that Bristol’s Lee Haskins will get his long overdue shot at a version of the world bantamweight championship when he boxes for the vacant IBF Interim Title against Japan’s Ryosuke Iwasa on Saturday, June 13 at the Action Indoor Sports Arena, Bristol.
