I'd have to go with the old master Joe Gans. He was very clever and had a bag of tricks on par with Bob Fitzsimmons. Even though infighting is Duran's turf I'd have to go with Gans winning with short and powerful punches to the chin and solar-plexus. I don't think that Gans would fight in the way that Duran's other opponent's fought, of couse he may make Duran lead at times, but go out on an angle and attack I don't see this fight going down the stretch.

I'd prefer watching Monzon or Arguello fighting Duran, and Benny Leonard to take on Joe Gans.
If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.

Duran would terribly dominate. It wouldn't even be close. The guy above me probably thinks Sullivan would beat Ali.

Everyting you said was what i was going to say.
Gans would beat Duran in a fight with losts of infighting and aggresiveness
Duran is a fight legend but Joe GANS is just the old master and he would pull it out the bag
