This fight is more even than most are hoping for, although Mercer is the hardened pro, he is also old and doesnt look that fit

Kimbo seems tough for a minute but hopefully Mercer weathers any storm and comes on

Kimbo can show videos of him being trained by Bas Rutten all he wants, hes not even been trained by him for a month so all he would have gained is a little fitness

If you ar me were trained by kevin Rooney for a month, would we look like Tyson against mercer ?

I could be wrong but I think this is gonna be more like sparring, I think the cage fighting organisation who have kimbo contracted, need a big name to give him some credibility and expierience to keep making money from his already quite popular name.

I bet Mecer is taking a dive here, he will be taking a back hander to submit

Ray is hella old....I wouldn't be surprised if he gets KO'd early......doesn't mean Kimbo is a good fighter though.

Ray can win this...Because: To beat Mercer all that is necessary is a respectable puncher with a bit of stamina to last literally a few minutes.
But Kimbo is a big Puncher with NO stamina. Mercer should survive Kimbos initial onslaught and then turn the tables with a vengance.

I have to say that age would be the only thing on Kimbo's side.....Tough Ray has had MMA fights before but not really sure what thier rules are...Is it just hand to hand or is there MMa allowed?........

I do know this...... If this was the Ray Mercer from 10 years ago Kimbo Slice is disposed of in under 2min

They should make him shave it....If this is MMA rules it can be used as a weapon.....Grind it into the face..use it to irritate the skin causing cuts easier ect....
