No drinking holidays over there that I know of... I'll be there next April with my GF for the Thai new year (Songkran), which is supposed to be great fun. They celebrate by having mass water fights in the streets... me being Irish, I'm used to cold temperatures... so going to central Thailand during the hottest time of the year (Averages around 40C) they can soak me all they want.
