If you have a job why don't you just buy it?
I had the same problem 2 months ago. I think Gamo experienced the same thing too.
My friend took care of mine. She just phoned the geek squads in bestBuy where I got my PC. And gave her password for another free 6 months.
It's funny how they (Bill Gates and associates) make money out of everything now.
Man I would if it was some new jordans but a fxcking software for $200, I will only use it like once a week so no way. Would you buy a software you hardly use for $200?
And ofcourse I got a job, im a part time student with a full time job soon its going to be full time student with a full time job. That will make you happy cause that will mean less of julius rain on the forum![]()
Here in the Philippines, we all do it for free. hehehe.
However, if you really want something that is legally for free, try OPEN OFFICE. It works like microsoft office. I'm personally giving you a guarantee that it functions like microsoft office.
You might as well try LINUX as your operating system. I'm using Red Hat for my server and it's quite stable. I have not encountered any system breakdown so far for the past 5 years. Actually, I haven't encountered any virus attack in Linux.
Here's the link for Linux Ubuntu: Ubuntu Home Page | Ubuntu
Here's the link to Sun Microsystem. Sun is promoting openoffice.:OpenOffice.org
Here's the link to OPEN OFFICE:www: OpenOffice.org - The Free and Open Productivity Suite
OpenOffice is actually bundled in Linux Ubuntu. Meaning, if you install Linux ubuntu, you don't actually need to install openoffice anymore. It's already in there.
We are actually promoting the use of open source programs and it's like having a revolution against microsoft.

So how's your MS Word? Have you visited openoffice already?

You can save your file in openoffice as .doc. It can be saved as Microsoft word.
Upon saving your file, click on the file menu 'Save as'. Then on the save as type part, choose Microsoft Word 98/2000/XP(.doc).
As easy as that. Just try it once bro. If you ain't contented, you can uninstall it immediately. No need to spend $200...![]()

If you have any problem bro, just ask/PM me. I'm more than willing to help you.
I've been teaching the use of OpenOffice for quite some time already.![]()
