Hahaha!! I didnt even think of that!!
Chuseok is a main holiday in Korea along with the Chinese New Year. Next week actually. Usually around these times in the supermarkets they make a lot of gift sets for people to take to the hometowns and give to family. These gift sets could be collections of shampoo, fruit, cutlery, prime Korean beef or whatever and they are all sold at hyper inflated prices and sold as luxury items.
One of the most popular gift items is
a box set of 8 tins of Spam packaged with 2 smallish bottles of Soybean oil. This is being sold for about 100 dollars as a set. Im not joking when I say that this shit is flying off the shelves.
I would die a thousand deaths if anybody ever went to the effort of giving me this gift.
