Yes, potato chips in the States.

    SQUID potato chips................
Yes, they taste as revolting as they sound. They are probably the most common flavour out here. You can go and see a movie here and you can choose between hot dogs, popcorn.........and you guessed it......a dried out squid. Oh, the aroma as you try to relax and watch a film!!

Hahaha!! I didnt even think of that!!

Chuseok is a main holiday in Korea along with the Chinese New Year. Next week actually. Usually around these times in the supermarkets they make a lot of gift sets for people to take to the hometowns and give to family. These gift sets could be collections of shampoo, fruit, cutlery, prime Korean beef or whatever and they are all sold at hyper inflated prices and sold as luxury items.

One of the most popular gift items is a box set of 8 tins of Spam packaged with 2 smallish bottles of Soybean oil. This is being sold for about 100 dollars as a set. Im not joking when I say that this shit is flying off the shelves.

I would die a thousand deaths if anybody ever went to the effort of giving me this gift.

I've only eaten one thing that smelt worse than the asian street soups of Malasias; "whore soup".
That was some dish from Barcellona I had and threw up back into the bowl in front of the waiter. I expect it was bull balls in fat soup .still dont know ,dont wanna know really.

Chicken Tikka Masala may as well be called British seeing as its so popular there. I had the Loyd Grossman version today and it was really good. His curries have all been great so far. Jalfrezi, Madras, Tikka Masala. All tip top and tasty.

The way Im going through these jars Im going to have nothing left come next month. I need to ration myself to one curry a week. Maybe then I can hang on until the new year.

Thankfully my chocolate and junk should last no matter how hard I binge.
