IMO Williams shouldn't fight under 154 anymore, he looked awesome Saturday and i think he'd stop Clottey, fight i wanna see is Williams/Angulo

IMO Williams shouldn't fight under 154 anymore, he looked awesome Saturday and i think he'd stop Clottey, fight i wanna see is Williams/Angulo

If Cotto wins over Clottey, do you think Cotto will fight Williams? IMO, Cotto won't fight Williams and will join Mosley and PBF in avoiding a Williams fight...

So it's better if Clottey defeats Cotto then we will see a Clottey vs. Williams fight...

Clottey is just pissed off and he will fight anyone, when he was asked about Margarito, he said he had been calling out Tony for years and that he laughed when ever he heard them mention Tony by "Most Avoided Fighter"
Clottey now claims that it is he who is the most avoided fighter and by beating Miguel Cotto in June, he says this is the fight that will finally elevate his career. Calling out Paul Williams before even beating Miguel? First beat Cotto then you can call out Godzilla for all we care. I like the Ghana fighter and I hope he and Cotto just go to war which I think they will. Both fighters are great body punchers and both have very fast hands. I can't wait for this one.

He'd stop Clottey when Clottey has never been stopped?

he has a legitimate claim as he was dominating Margarito prior to that point. And it turned off instantly, wasn't like there was a course of 3 rounds where Tony dominated causing Clottey to stop trying. It was like he was dominating, then it switched off

Why would Mayweather scared of P. Williams after seeing Williams against Quintana it seems pretty obvious to me that movement, speed, and counterpunching like MAyweather does would be a nightmare for Paul who doesn't use his height as well as guys like Hearns used to.

Clottey won't get past Cotto. And its is not realistic to "now" claim to be willing to fight Williams when there is no way a fight can be made. Where was all this talk before? He maybe geniune but the timing is not looking the part. But why is Mosley getting a pass for avoiding Williams. This fight makes sense. But not for Mosley's future. Everybody great is tied up except Mosley and Williams. If Mayweather came back he surely wouldn't or couldn't be expected to take on Williams his first fight out. If any welter takes on Williams it will be Cotto. He has the most heart and less care about the "business first" factor. I think Williams should just stay at welterweight and punk out all these guys in the "so called" toughest division in boxing. Keep them running. I know he needs to make money so he bounces around to different divisions but that would be nice if Williams just sat a welterweight like a roadblock instead of being boycotted by gutless future hall of famers.

Clottey's already talking about fighting Paul Williams? Well... not that Cotto needs any extra motivation, but......

If I were Clottey, I'd be worrying about the fight in front of me first.

Well Clottey just renewed his view on Paul Williams... "avoided" my a$$... Clottey re-iterated that he called out Williams for years now...

I agree. The first time I saw Williams fight I thought, "wow, this guy is so vulnerable to counterpunching it's funny. He wouldn't even pose a problem for Floyd."

Clottey better watch what he says because he has a tougher fight with Cotto upcoming, and I don't think there is anyway Cotto is going to lose to Clottey. So, Clottey can forget about fighting Paul Williams.

there's a first for everything, Mayorga had never been stopped when he fought the bigger stronger Trinidad, which i feel would happen with Clottey if he fought Williams, honestly i don't think Williams should fight below 154 anymore, and if the fight happens against Clottey there Paul CAN stop him, he came close to stopping Winky a couple times, but Wright showed grit and was able to get out of trouble

People can't complain if Williams will still fight at 147... If he can still make 147 then so be it... he could be killing himself to make 147 and that could be an advantage to his welter opponent like for example Clottey...
