Thread: Did Anyone Notice this?

Hey i might be pretty slow but i never noticed this.


I was looking on boxrec and checking out Julio Cesar Chavez record and i looked at the last guy that he fought and the last guy to beat him. He goes by the name Grover Wiley, nothing special by the looks of his record but i click on his name and who did i see as one of his losses - none other than Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Truly one of those instances where the son avenges the father. I just never noticed that before

I remember watching the fight on Setanta and Steve Bunce was trying to say that he could beat Grover Wiley

Now if only Jr. got the chance to fight Delahoya...

Yeah, mate the fight was billed in Mexico as "For my Father".

Team Chavez Jr. has always talked about Jr. fighting any possible guy who defeated his father.

Actually I am impressed I already knew this.

Yeah we only get the big fights over here and my internet speed is no where near good enough to download fights so i fall behind on all of this
