As a first defense for a young champion I suppose u could do worse than figfhting a former title holder who was competitive in his only loss. At 22 I wouldn't begrudge Devon to have a softish opponent before jumping straight in for an unification.

Khan would get absolutely slaughtered if he fought Rees. I'd love this fight to happen just to see how many Khan haters justify it for Alexander.

It took me a second to figure out what Fenster meant by that. Really, Khan would get slaughtered by that little dude

I should make out I did that on purpose.. sadly not the case.

Although now thinking about it, Rees ain't a bad puncher, yeah I reckon he could probably take Khan with a rat-a-tat flurry

I don't like Amir Khan. Gavin Rees is a truly respectable opponent. He is a former world champion. He beat Souleymane M'Baye who Ricky Hatton ducked (uncle Frank told us he did so it must be true). Rees just won Prizefighter. Audley won prizefighter and told us he'd be a world champion soon. So it only makes sense that Rees will win this one as prizefighter is the yardstick for measuring true world champion material.

There, I justified it for ya.

Come on mate I know your proabably a Rees fan but come on scrapping a fight with Urango the IBF Champ and fighting Rees is acceptable?? Rees hasnt done anything for 2 years he is so well thought of he isnt even ranked by the WBC, it would be a fucking disgrace if he Fought Rees imo.
