as absurd as it sounds, and more absurd things have happened, who among the top 10 could beat him do you think? I say he smokes Arreola, Adamek, Haye, K brothers, etc.

I don't think he would dominate now he's probably done a lot of long term damage to his body in his of time.

I think he would lose to anybody top 10. He was 'done' by the time he fought Vitali!

He couldn't 'smoke' Klit first time around. Fight was close but wasn't clear cut due to the cuts. Lewis may have been starting to take over in some peoples eyes but if it had not been for the cuts i think it would have got very difficult for him by the 12th.

I reckon being the athlete Lewis was he could get himself back in amazing shape with a lot of hard work and dedication but his timing and reflexes would be shot to bits probably along with his punch resistance.

Not that it would ever happen, Lewis had lost the hunger by time he had retired he knew it was time to call it a day.

Not now mate. He's old and slow and has no hunger. A fighter with nothing to prove and no desire aint gonna do anything.

Lewis could beat fighters that allow themselves to fight his fight which today would mean standing in front of him and not making him work to cut off the ring.

The guys he could beat would be guys who aren't mobile and can be out muscled....Chambers? Chagaev?

Wlad would easily beat him now...Vitali is older but has been active more recently I think that's a close fight because Vitali will stand and trade, Wlad moves very well and he uses that.

Haye is a toss up because I still don't know what to think of the guy as a heavyweight...he's quick, he's hard to catch those are good news when fighting Lewis, he's got fast hands, decent power...but can he win rounds

Povetkin I don't know much about now. I'd say Tony Thompson is a 50/50 shot (leaning more towards Lewis by KO though), Helenius and Dimitrenko haven't stepped up enough.

I think Adamek is tougher than people think and he'll give Vitali a tough fight.

Arreola...well let's see how an in shape Arreola handles Wlad before making a judgment. A fat one could last the distance for certain.

Lennox could easily earn a title shot, but he's retired so all this speculation is erroneous.

Agreed his mind would say "why bother?" and his body would say "I am too old for this".

The man is one of the smartest boxers I've ever seen - he got out when he was ready and didn't give in to the temptation to make a comeback. I'd agree he's been out of the game too long to be competitive now.

i agree wth all of you---its no doubt too late for sure, but still think if he went thru the 13 week training and got down to 250, with his huge reach and powerful jab/overhand right he could smoke the JOKES.

If Lewis got in shape I'd buy his keep fit video!

He's old and probably already sore from his career.

If he lost all his money and had to fight, like Rocky 5 which was a shite film, then he would earn some good money and glamour.

It wouldn't matter mate, he'd still batter those lot trust me. Especially a blown up Cruiserweight's like Adamek. Plus he'd have big reach and height advantages over all of those guys. Not that i want him to comeback im just saying.

I think the best way to assess this question is to ask how you think Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield would do against the current top 10.

If you think they wouldn't be able to compete then ask yourselves why you think Lennox, who hasn't been in a ring for almost a decade is somehow less prone to ageing than those guys?

He ain't coming back, and if he did he wouldn't be Lennox Lewis anymore.

Look at Tua, Holyfield, Morrison, Mercer, Rahman etc.
