Well first off its complete utter bullshit to point out Manny's ppv numbers as a reason not to fight him. Its beyond explanation its so ridiculous. The levels of assinitity (I needed a made up word) for such a claim are off the charts. With the exception of Hatton and Oscar none of Floyds opponents have done close to 1 million ppv buys. Just another reason ppv is plastic. Risk and reward has completely vanished from the land scape. This is where Floyd does more to hurt boxing then anyone has before him regardless of how good he is. He's to big. Yes this is prize fighting but the prize used to be because of the risk or at least part of it was. Manny is still the second best fighter in Floyds comfort zone. Doesn't that mean anything anymore? What sport is this?
Arum was with Floyd for ten years. When the Oscar fight was made Floyd wanted 20 million and Bob said no. Floyd said fk-you and bought out his contract for 750 grand and started promoting himself. He went on to make 30 million against Oscar.
Now because of that, Floyd figures he was shorted in previous fights. Fair enough but we can go back as far as guys like Tex Rickard right through to King for the same types of acts committed by promoters and yet in the end save the colour barrier days, the best fought the best. Legacy won out in the end. Today those who want to pursue legacy cant get the fights because they wont sell PPV or are to dangerous

Its fking pathetic. Its like a different sport. And I'm not trying to sound arrogant here but for those of you who have grown up with nothing else but this flavour era you will never understand and I kind of feel sorry for you. Its not even about boxing anymore. The sports been TMZ'd, highjacked if you will. If Floyd wanted to get back at Arum he'd demand a 70/30 split along with the overwhelming majority of all other revenue and then beat up his main tit.
Get that phantom money back from Bob and belittle his main squeeze no doubt sending him into retirement in the process. Now that's payback.
