Thread: RIP Dave Legano

Dave Legano passed away recently n was found in Death Valley. Apparently he was hiking there n got turned around n died of the heat n elements.

For anyone who hasn't seen him fight or cut a promo I highly suggest you youtube him.

This was a man who LIVED!

At about age 40 this actor (werewolf in Harry potter films) took up professional mma.

He lost his first 3 matches.

Then something happened. He began training seriously with Don Frye and proceeded to win his next 4 fights, avenging a loss and beating mma legends: Kimo Leopold, Dan Severn and Herb Dean.

He was a showman and a man with a very great will. He will be missed.

Sounds like he pulled an Evan Tanner. Very sad and horrible way to go I imagine.

Yes, he was built like a brick shit house and a former boxer as a young man.


He was also an eccentric and free thinker, so he was similar to Evan Tanner in that regard. I imagine both men wanted to test themselves against mother nature and sadly, mother nature won.
