I'm pleasantly surprised but expected something decent for the opener and its apparently going to be on regular NBC March 7 in Vegas. Being reported all over now with the official announcement coming Wednesday.

Good fights. Let's hope it continues
Hope so! If you flip those matches it would be huge also. Guerrero v Broner would be brutal.
Come on Haymonyou don't invest millions in hopes of just car wash tokens dipped in glitter

Sounds good and hope it continues!
if they can start getting these kind of fights on non premium channels, that would be great.
This is great. That's why we need to reserve our objections to Haymon until after we see what he has planned for NBC. Showtime really is getting screwed. Their 2014 was horrible and now all the guys they had built up are fighting elsewhere. Seems to be a Haymon pattern . . .
Both these fights should be good. Is this on NBC proper or NBC Sports?
EDIT: Ha. Try reading Kirkland.
Glad to see top fighters getting matchedI only hope it doesn't slip towards Garcia-Salka type match making

Cold Heart and a Weak Mind
It can't and remain successful because the funding is dependent on advertising dollars. Presumably, the advertisers won't pay for space if the matches aren't competitive. If he doesn't get advertising money, he can't repay the investors that lent him money that enabled him to buy time for boxing programs from NBC.
Haymon is a parasite. Moving from one host to the other. Don't cry for Showtime, they got their monies worth out of Mayweather.
Bigger man George, bigger punch!
