This is great. That's why we need to reserve our objections to Haymon until after we see what he has planned for NBC. Showtime really is getting screwed. Their 2014 was horrible and now all the guys they had built up are fighting elsewhere. Seems to be a Haymon pattern . . .

Both these fights should be good. Is this on NBC proper or NBC Sports?

    EDIT: Ha. Try reading Kirkland.

It's crazy because Showtime 2013 was amazing. I thought that it was going to surpass HBO. Now NBC might surpass Showtime.

Glad to see top fighters getting matched I only hope it doesn't slip towards Garcia-Salka type match making

It can't and remain successful because the funding is dependent on advertising dollars. Presumably, the advertisers won't pay for space if the matches aren't competitive. If he doesn't get advertising money, he can't repay the investors that lent him money that enabled him to buy time for boxing programs from NBC.

Haymon is a parasite. Moving from one host to the other. Don't cry for Showtime, they got their monies worth out of Mayweather.
