No way out for "timid" Michael Spunks in this one. He'd be quaking in his boots no different than how he quaked in his boots vs Tyson.

Spinks gave Holmes a hard fight and i think did enough in the rematch no doubt to get the nod Holmes is a calibar of heavyweight Rocky has never saw hell most of lhw Spinks whooped were the size of what Rocky was beating in his day there from different time frames.

Spinks in his prime you could argue was better then Charles at his peak his lhw division is consider one of the deepest and no one even got close to beating him. He never even got knocked down only man to do it plus Charles was not prime and he also had a signs of a sickness.

Rock is no Tyson he does not even have the speed to even hit Spinks and his reach is that of a welterweight then factor end he weighed 20 pounds less to boot. Spinks hung with Holmes who went on whoop Mercer and should of got the nod against McCall they fought real hw.

Spinks put on mass with out losing any of his speed and the only guy to ever hurt him was Tyson and Rock did not have the speed or the reach to get a hit off. Louis was 36 Wallcott was 40 and Charles was younger but had a sickness it is the weakest era of heavyweight history.

Rocky never had the speed to beat anyone. That was the rap against him. But he always found a way. The guy had perfect timing and beautiful positioning believe me he would catch him he would catch him and remember what Rocky all he needed was one punch. ALSO SpIcnks did not have a very good chin did he. Also comparing spenK's performance against Larry Holmes is a little misleading as Larry Holmes was already an ageing old man by 1986 the guy was 36 years old man. Michael Spinks could not come anywhere near a 26-year old Larry Holmes and you know it that would be a complete mismatch

The only guy to legit knock Micheal spinks on the canvas was Mike Tyson but he did that to everyone during that time. That does not make Micheal bad the only man to floor him is Tyson. Spinks chin held up to everything else that ever happened to him he had very strong chin.
