Khan eyes up autumn revenge bout

Amir Khan's next fight could be against Craig Watson, the only boxer to have knocked him down in his career.
Mancunian Watson, 23, floored the 2004 Olympic silver medallist from Bolton in an amateur bout in January last year.

But Khan, 19, said: "It's more like a grudge match. I'd beat him in a couple of rounds - it would mean a lot to me."

Last Saturday the 19-year-old Khan won his eighth successive pro fight, stopping Glasgow's Colin Bain in the second round at the Millennium Stadium.

It is also believed the autumn bout could be Khan's last six-round contest before he progresses to eight-round bouts before the end of the year.

craigs only had 5 pro fights and his last one was last year. :-\

i dont see why his that bothered to be honest he still beat watson in the fight he was knocked down in anyway

Pointless even going there but it's personal so it must be eating away at Amir big time.
I'd love to see him fight Kevin Mitchell by the end of the year but it is not gonna happen as Warren owns them both.
that would be a real test for Khan.

I think you'll find this is all a mistake.

Craig Watson is much to dangerous for Amir's handlers to think about fighting, when they said Watson, they meant Michael.

Watson has been in-active (Gymwise)) since last November due to personal problems.......
