You should hear people in North Carolina talk....on the outter banks you have the "hiogh tioders" who supposedly are the closest dialect to the Queen's English or something like that....then you have the mountain folk who say "l-ight", "n-ight", "f-[b]ight[b]" with a very drawn out 'I' sound.....don't even get me started about South Carolina....

I can hear people in South Carolina talk, especially where my Uncle lives (the southeast part close to Savanah, GA) and only understand a word here and there
