....ok smashup it just caught me a bit off guard hearing her talk after hearing her sing.

You should hear people in North Carolina talk....on the outter banks you have the "hiogh tioders" who supposedly are the closest dialect to the Queen's English or something like that....then you have the mountain folk who say "l-ight", "n-ight", "f-[b]ight[b]" with a very drawn out 'I' sound.....don't even get me started about South Carolina....
