Mayweather Haters

Aside the fact that he is an elusive fighter and cocky, there are few people that can give credible reasons to dislike Mayweather.
Ali was hated for what he stood for outside the ring. He was also charasmatic, cocky and flamboyant. It is only after we (so-called boxing fans) see him in this sorrowful and humbled state that we come to adore and somewhat respect his accomplishments. Many promoters, boxing venues and handlers alike were fed off of Ali's Talent, as they are with Mayweather.

Mayweather is an awesome fighter he's just reached the point where people just want to see him lose. Like Mike Tyson. You can't be a true winner until you've lost.

The only reason I hate him Is because he wore that T-shirt that said I hate haters ;)

3)When he said he would have whupped SRL!
4)Constantly saying he'll go toe to toe and the not! (I love skillful boxing so why does he claim he'll brawl)
5)He's got a lot more money than me.

This has been done over and over and over and over, some people hate him and they're not going to change their minds. I've never really understood why Mayweather fans, or any fans, are so bothered when some people don't like him.

Well i named 12 but that doesn't matter but i'll bet all the Mayweather haters who say he is boring have never seen most of the fights on this list.

Mayweather is the best boxer out there right now...i actually find very few people here anyhow that will dispute that....pbf is disliked cause he portays himself as a dick most of the time. The only people you will find grasping at straws to bash him inside the ring usually just have a favorite boxer that is his current opponet or has a good chance to be in the near future. I have a relative down in vegas that see's him every blue moon at the 24 hour fitness down there and says he is the nicest guy so who knows....

I only hate is attitude , as a fighter and athlete he is just amazing , i want Ricky Hatton to win the fight but if Mayweather schools him then i will accept the better fighter won.
Just wish Mayweather didnt run his mouth off so much , as he could let his fists do the talking.

I agree...but he does let his fists do the talking and thats another big reason people hate him...he talks and talks but he also wins and wins.

I can`t think of five reasons but he talks a lot of shit, but he isnt interesting or funny with it.

Fighters who talk shite should have some personality, ie James Toney, Ali, etc but Mayweather has none and I cant recall him coming out with a single piece of wit or a funny one liner in any interview that I have seen or heard.

I hate Floyd's arrogance and holier than thou attitude, but I don't watch boxing for personalities and I'm sure Floyd could care less what I thought of his personality. I love Kelly Pavlik as he is humble, grounded and seems genuinely a man on a mission; but again I don't watch his fights for his down to earth personality. Floyd is so skilled and an expert at his craft that I couldn't find fault if I wanted to, though he should stop telling people he'll knock out every opponent he faces. But in the end, a W is a W and I don't see anyone stopping that guy in his career. Floyd is an ACE, so hating him won't change anything anyways, probably just makes Floyd more focused so people can't get a chance to hate on him for losing. I'd still like to see Floyd lose, only if to see how he'd come back after a defeat.

5: he get's on his bike every time he fights someone remotely dangerous
6: he promises to go toe 2 toe but never does (ndou doesn't count cos he's a bum)
7: he's a cunt
8: he talks absolute bollocks before every fight
9: he talks absolute bollocks after every fight
10: he talks absolute bollcoks between fights
11: he thinks he can dance
12: he cant dance (which i believe has now been scientificly proved)
13: he isn't pretty altho his nickname suggests otherwise
14: he has too many green belts
15: when he smiles he always looks like he has a gumshield in
16: he lost to castillo 1st time round but got a gift decision
17: he leans in with his forearm when he wants to throw the straight right
18: he pulls stupid faces when he's avoiding punches
19: he moves up through the weight divisions avoiding every single dangerous fighter
20: jay nady fancies him
21: he thinks every fighter apart from himself is a bum
22: he claims he would have beaten srl (might have a chance now maybe)
23: he's stupid - he turned down 8m to fight margarito even though he could have beaten him with one arm whilst eating a cheeseburger....thus making him stupid
24: he's fighting ricky hatton next
25: he ran from carlos baldozar........for a full 12 rounds.

i don't hate mayweather. i like him because of his talent in the ring and for people to call him boring are not boxing fans

Even though he has his critics,doesn't every fighter? Does that mean we are all "haters" in one sense or another as we all dislike some fighter out there. We are merely human,we possess emotions. If we were all to portray them like this,we'd have thread after thread after thread about "Hatton haters,Cotto haters etc etc"

I think we all dislike some aspect of Mayweather(H'es not funny bit tried to be,he's annoying and immaure,makes alot of unintelligent statements) but are all agreed that he is a superb fighter,with an amazing defence.
