Edison knocked out Henry Porras in 5 rounds last night, so I guess he's back on track. I sure hope they can line up a fight with Librado Andrade soon; what a war that would be.

Im happy for miranda...if he could learn to box a little better he would be great.
He definately needs a fighting going backwards mode at least, a little lateral movement would go a long way with him.Quote:

He has the perfect style for Bute to beat. Bute would beat him worse than Pavlik imo.Quote:

I mean seriously, jumping two weights when you started at 112 isn't too bad, but from 160 it's a whole different ball game to do it to 175 in two fights.
Here's the link to the fightnews story its from. I don't think he'd be too good in the light-heavies to be honest.

I think he is too slow to be a boxer.Quote:

Amen (cc), I have thought this many times, and it usually suddenly bites them in the a** when they get to the elite level. I also think this happens to strong guys too, like Lacy. I could see Berto falling into that trap if he's not conscientious about it.Quote:

Bute would not be able to back him up. I think he would expose Bute. I just do not see anything special in Bute at all at this point. He no longer punches in bunches and his once talked about power is not evident at championship level.Quote:

I still see him as a big threat to anyone he faces. Something tells me his boxing skills will improve and we might see Pavlik vs. Miranda II maybe late 2008.
I see Gamboa had another good win on the undercard. Cant wait to see him fighting the top guys, and by how fast he is progressing i might not have to last long!
