DelaHoya-Pacquiao Split Negotiations and Purse Talk!
Basing on recent news information from various sources, I think negotiations for the Hoya-Pacquiao fight is bound to fail due to the following reasons:
1. Hoya pushes for a 70-30 (in Hoya's favor) split on everything that is not acceptable to Team Pacquiao
2. Hoya won't give the Philippines TV rights to Pacquiao
3. Hoya wants Pacquiao to wear 10 oz. gloves for the fight
4. Hoya realized that boxing fans didn't like the smaller Pacquiao as his opponent for his very last fight.
As for Manny Pacquiao, he will probably sit out for the rest of the year and will probably be back May or June next year.

This last part makes no sense. Why would he sit around until next May or June when he's coming off a great performance 2 months ago where he barely got a scratch on him?
Even if the Oscar fight doesn't come thru, Pac has other options...

This is good news, except for PAC waiting so long to fight again.
Re: DelaHoya-Pacquiao fight is OFF
Oscar is such a crossdressing tranny bitch, I wish he would just retire already.
Re: DelaHoya-Pacquiao fight is OFF
If Pac sits out until next year May/June it is probably for the Hatton fight.. because that's the time you would expect it to happen - if it does
Re: DelaHoya-Pacquiao fight is OFF
Well... Floyd is retired, and Pac won't cave to DLH's usual outlandish demands. Looks like the Golden Boy may have to look in Margarito's direction after all. (TitoFan laughs an evil laugh).

Hatton, win or loss against Paulie, will still be a good fight for PAC in May/June next year.

If Hatton loses to Paulie it wont be happening. If Hatton loses he is finished.
Pac not fighting is to stop any mishaps happening also (if Hatton-Pac is strongly on the cards, that is). Barring Oscar, Hatton is Pac's biggest money fight ;)

With the PAC fight gone, it's better for Hoya to retire now.

Given the choices (he may have to fight a real welterweight)... and given the top names out there (Margarito, Cotto)..... retirement may be looking a lot sweeter right about now.
;) ;)

I think PAC won't mind fighting a boxer coming from a loss. He has done it already many times in the past. Anyway Hatton has 6 months to prepare for PAC.

I'm sure Pac wouldn't mind fighting him should he lose.. but the people that stump up the MONEY will. ;)
Hatton-Pac wont happen if Hatton loses. You can bet your life on that. ;)

;D
I wish he'd fight Williams or Margarito or put out a spring fashion catalog.

Morales just lost to Barrera when he fought (and defeated!) PAC the first time and that fight was still a blockbuster.
If Hatton will lose to Paulie then he's already considered shot. No problem since PAC already been criticized before on taking shot fighters. Adding another shot fighter will do no more harm.

Hatton will probably retire if he loses to Paulie.
He will have lost all credibility at 140 - and have no title. There will be no reason to make Pac-Hatton. Hatton don't need the money.
Morales fought Pac coming off a loss to Barrera but that was an all time GREAT boxing rivalry. They were in the same weight class. It was a natural sell. ;)
